The Phantom Ghost Tube - with Bullet P&L - Smith Estate
Dims: Approx. 7″ tall 2 3/4″” circumference. Condition: Very Good apply a little cleaner to the chrome and this baby will look PERFECT! In fact, this is the best condition of this item I have ever seen. Important: This item does NOT come with any instructions. Effect: The magician shows a red painted metal tube to be completely empty and then seals the ends with tissue paper and chrome rings to create a drum head appearance. A flashlight can be shinned through the tube and tissue papers showing that the tube is still empty. Yet, at any time the performer wishes, he breaks the paper drum head at the end of the tube and makes a large production of silk handkerchiefs, ribbons, streamers, etc.
Possibly one of the most baffling visual effects incorporated in Phantom and Genii Tubes. They have been around for a long time but guess what – still are just effective today as they were back in the days of Vaudevilles! Personally, I love BOTH the Phantom and Genii Tubes. One of the nice features about the Genii tubes is you can open them up exposing their interior, however, with the Phantom tube there is NO reasons really. It’s a circular tube and why run if no one is chasing you as they say. I also like the Phantom tubes for their brilliant cylinder shape and vivid red and chrome tip coloring. To me, if I was a Magic set designer for movies this would be a “must have” piece in the set. That’s actually a great question I would love to ask many of you – if you had to choose the top 20 items that would be MUST BE’s in a curio of magic apparatus. Anyway I digress – Mark Stevens

With the Bullet Loader Insert the performer is able to turn the capped tube over to the other end and make a production from that side of the tube as well.
