A matching base is included. The effect is that both tubes are shown empty and then a large production is made. This prop is in perfect condition. This is truly a unique piece of apparatus the hope is the new owner will hold on to it for many years.

Fun Fact - David Smith was a chemist by trade and worked for Alcoa Aluminum. During his tenure there he was awarded the patent for creating what is today some of the most immediately recognizable products by brand name or just instant recognition of the same type of technology uses for other food containers such as yogurt. As I was packing up the estate there were Pringles cans dispersed. Of course, I immediately thought - okay Dave is just using these for the ole' Snake in the Can, and while that may be true but when I learned the KICKER from his son - I immediately recognized a good and true story to share. The image you see of the assorted food storages was the original images used by Alcoa to launch this newer technology food preservation and packaging. And for those of you who are wondering - while Dave did get the Patent in his name - his employer Alcoa owned it from day one. But I mean how could I not share this story with you. What I love about the art of magic is you meet such a diverse group of people and for me it's the personal stories of the people that brings continued life to his pieces that we are honored to sale.
