Includes 300 engraved illustrations. Embossed cloth covers with significant wearing on the spine more than the cover. Binding is in poor condition featuring rubbing to extremities; significant wear to original boards; areas of spine cloth missing; age-toning and fox-spotting to pages; interior is clean and free of markings save for fox spotting on pages and at the very front several notations and dates from previous owners. A Christmas gift to the first inscription dated 1876.
