While this item is listed and details and explains how it can be performed, upon quick examination I see it more as a utility prop for someone out there that is looking for themed pieces that radiate the aura of pirates and lost treasure. In the interest of not attempting to over sell and item, that is why I state this is better to be used as a prop for you ultra creative types that see it and immediately think - "Oh, I know what I could do with that!"
The description reads: A cloth pirate's treasure map is shown and can be examined. The map is folded into a small square and a gold doubloon falls from the map into the hands of the spectator. The coin is places on the center of the map and marked with an "X." The map is refolded only to show the gold has once again departed.
You can perform this effect while slowly reciting the poem included, written by Captain Michael C. Crownheart Esquire.
The instructions open up to reveals six illustrations as the set up is explained. The instructions are extremely well written with references to the exact illustration. Put out by B.C. Magic of Tucson, Arizona.
Condition: Never Used and in excellent condition as you can see by the images plus the gold coin has never been removed from its affixed position on the packaging.
