Silk Frame and Cabby - Sunil Batra - Viking - Blue with Gold Set - Nassif Estate

From the Estate of Nathan Nassif... This is a great story showing how a lover of the art of magic stayed with it all the way. Nate starting out as a master close-up performer (with a signature coin matrix effect). He then traversed into parlor and stage venues including a wonderfully remembered Chinese Linking Ring routine by his family & friends. As Nate aged he accepted something difficult - loosing his dexterity due to arthritis and neuropathy. Give up his love for magic - FORGETABOUT! Nate zig-zaged into collecting. Nate was the epitome of class and someone we at Stevens Magic along with his friends like Jon Wilson and family won't forget. In fact our relationship with Nathan transcended the art of magic... Look for more postings from Nate's estate.

The classic Eric Lewis silk transposition, built the way parlor magic used to be made.

Three 12-inch silks hang tied to a gleaming chrome rod inside a lacquered hardwood cabinet. They are taken down and pushed into the matching Silk Cabby. A tap of the wand, and the cabby is empty. Open the frame and the silks are back on the rod, exactly where they started.

Viking Magic made a limited number of this set with craftsman Sunil Batra. The frame is finished in high-gloss lacquer, Viking Blue or Viking Red. The cabby is the utility half of the routine: shown empty at any time, silent in operation, and equally useful later for productions, vanishes, and color changes of silks, ropes, or sponge balls.
