Milson-Worth Wizard's Wand - Estate

Another reason why I love Milson Worth - this streamlined pom pom pole. This is a special add on gimmick from the master of Pom Pom poles Shawn Reida that makes it easier to perform. Special thanks to Andy Martin for allowing us to use his ad copy from: www.martinsmagic.com

Availability: In stock

Collection: All Products, Stevens Estate

The Pom-Pom Prayer Stick was invented by Louis Histed and published in his book The Magic of Louis S. Histed c. 1947 as the effect Papyrus (pg 55). The effect was made famous and very popular by the great Ali Bongo (William Oliver Wallace: 1929-2009). You can read more details about the origins here. It is really a beautiful effect full of comedy and mystery.

The Milson-Worth version look amazing and are very well engineered.  In fact, this is the first set of pom-pom’s that I have seen that use actually pulleys inside if you know what I mean. BONUS:  We had Tech#1 - Shawn Reida who was nice enough to take time off his shows to come in is to personally examine and service this unit.  But he went above and beyond by adding a secret additional gimmick that he adds to all his set that make the performance much easier for the magician allowing you to focus on the routine.

Effect: Pull the tassel on the short cord and as the short cord lengthens, the long cord shortens. Pull what has become the short cord and the opposite cord shortens. Yet when the longer cord is pulled up and down it is obviously independent of the cord at the opposite end of the Wand. The Wand may, at any time, be separated in the middle to show that there are no internal connections. Rejoin the Wand halves and the long-short interchanges can be immediately repeated. Made of heavy-wall metal tubing, chrome plated and polished to a dazzling brilliance

Dimensions: 8" x 1.25" & 9" x 1.25" aprox. for each section - together 16" x 1.25" - velvet bag included to secure the prop.

Condition: Very Good    When you factor the additional secret gimmick that Shawn Reida added I'm proud to say this is probably the best one ever offered on many counts.
