The ultimate in precision. Loyd's Magic Flame. Adaptable to any act. The magician pulls the flaming tip of a burning candle through a borrowed handkerchief (or similar fabric) without damaging or burning it. It creates a striking visual where fire appears to pass harmlessly through cloth. It uses specially machined candle stands (about 7" high) and is a classic parlor/close-up fire magic piece.
Loyd was a respected prop maker in Glendale, CA, known for well-crafted mechanical magic apparatus (other effects include Tom Thumb Chest, Vanishing Radio, Visible 20th Century Silks, etc.).
Condition: Good especially considering its age. It comes with the original box where is has been stored for many decades and original instructions. Dims: 9" Tall by 1.5" Thick
Availability: Extremely Scarce. Crafted from medal, so the unit is very sturdy and solid. This is a piece many have magicians have never seen or were aware of.
