Nate starting out as a master close-up performer (with a signature coin matrix effect). He then traversed into parlor and stage venues including a wonderfully remembered Chinese Linking Ring routine by his family & friends. As Nate aged he accepted something difficult - loosing his dexterity due to arthritis and neuropathy. Give up his love for magic - FORGETABOUT! Nate zig-zaged into collecting. A signed card and a dollar bill perform a visual switch at your fingertips. From the innovative mind of Will Tyrrell comes a full three-phase routine that looks just as incredible in real life as on camera. This is the unique and captivating Instant Transfer.
Here’s what happens:
1. A card is selected, signed, and lost into the deck.
2. With a magical gesture, it instantly jumps to the top of the deck.
3. To up the ante, this is repeated, but with a paperclip added to the card to mark which one it definitely is.
4. The paperclipped selection is placed on a table, and a joker is waved over it. The joker transforms into the signed card, and the paperclipped card becomes the joker.
5. Under the most impossible conditions, the spectator folds the card into quarters and secures it with the paperclip.
6. You fold a dollar into a small packet and secure it with a paperclip.
7. The bill is placed into the spectator’s closed fist and you hold the card at your fingertips. In an instant, the card transforms into the bill. The spectator can immediately open their hand to discover their signed card locked in a paperclip.
