Cardtoon (Vanishing Inc Version) - Dan Harlan - Nassif Estate
From the Estate of Nathan Nassif... This is a great story showing how a lover of the art of magic stayed with it all the way. Nate starting out as a master close-up performer (with a signature coin matrix effect). He then traversed into parlor and stage venues including a wonderfully remembered Chinese Linking Ring routine by his family & friends. As Nate aged he accepted something difficult - loosing his dexterity due to arthritis and neuropathy. Give up his love for magic - FORGETABOUT! Nate zig-zaged into collecting. Nate was the epitome of class and someone we at Stevens Magic along with his friends like Jon Wilson and family won't forget. In fact our relationship with Nathan transcended the art of magic... New card stock. New illustrations. New secret. One of the most beloved card tricks of all time is back in a new, upgraded version.
Dan Harlan’s "Cardtoon" is one of the bestselling card tricks of all time.
It's easy to see why too: it's simple to perform, incredibly direct, and features an unforgettable visual. Now, with the brand-new "Cardtoon - Vanishing Inc. Edition", this modern classic has been elevated to a new level.
For those unfamiliar with the original—or those who need a refresher—here’s what happens:
A participant freely names any card. You then flip through the deck like a flipbook, revealing a stick figure magician who pulls their exact card out of a hat. It's a perfect prediction of a genuinely free choice.
You won’t believe how easy this is to perform. Even a complete beginner could start performing this within minutes of opening the box.
What’s new with the Vanishing Inc. Edition of “Cardtoon”?
We worked directly with Dan Harlan to redesign the artwork. The cards are also now printed on premium crushed Bicycle stock, making them smoother to handle and more durable than ever before.
The biggest change though, is the sneaky new secret: “Cardtoon - Vanishing Inc. Edition” is the first version of this gimmicked deck to come in Mnemonica order. This small, but vital, change gives you two massive advantages.
- You can now show the deck face up like it’s a genuinely shuffled deck
- If you’re familiar with Mnemonica, you can also cut right to the named card instead of having to openly search for it in the deck—making the whole trick more fooling than ever
Don’t know Mnemonica? No problem. The original handling still works just as well.
Don’t let the illustrations fool you into thinking this is just a cute trick for kids. “Cardtoon” is a mind-blowing miracle that crushes audiences of any age. With this new Vanishing Inc. Edition, it’s even better than ever.
