I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of talk these days about effects being a “reputation maker.” It seem like every day there’s a new one making that claim. This one, however, is legitimate.
You’ll find it’s true the first time you perform it, and it just keeps getting better. I like to pull this out when people claim not to like magic. They leave loving magic, and maybe even believing in it just a little.
This is really easy to customize to your performance style. The misdirection is practically built into the basic routine. It’s easy to learn and you spend most of your time on the fun part, making it your own, and watching the reactions.
