Contrary to popular beliefs Bob Swadling is the originator of the Coin Unique.
This is one of the most UNIQUE coin gimmicks there is! Similar to Scotch & Soda, but even more versatile, and it allows for many more ways to vanish the quarter and reset the gimmick without using a bang ring. Crafted by Roy Kueppers with extreme precision these coins will perform exactly how you need them to EVERYTIME! Our Coin Unique is made with 2023 Kennedy half dollar and the quarter has a modern face, perfect for borrowing a spectator's quarter! What makes this the Super Strong edition is we upped the strength of the magnet and found the perfect balance of tolerance that allows you to be able to perform this effect without worry (as many of the older versions tried to save money buying cheaper and less powerful magnets. The makers of previous inferior models we not magicians and figured all they had to do was buy the cheapest magnet that would allow the coins to nest. If they turned the coin upside and they quarter didn't fall out from the half - they said - GOOD ENOUGH! But they NEVER took into account simple science factors like velocity (how movement taxes the bond of a less than adequate magnet). Or for lack of a better term a sort of "G" force that stresses the magnetic lock when moving it. The result with inferior models was every magicians worst scenario - the separation of the coins while performing The other problem in manufacturing recently is TWO FOLD - lack of availability of rare earth materials (neodymium) along with the inconsistency of suppliers for these magnetics

There are many effects that can be performed with this effect. We will be providing written and video instructions on FOUR effects using Jiro's own handlings, and his own Card Effect with the Coin Unique that he created over a year ago when we first thought of remaking the Coin Unique. The four effects are: Coin through glass, Coins through table, Coin to impossible location and Jiro's Locator Coin.
Below are effects taught with the Coin Unique G-Force:
Effect One: Place two coins into a handkerchief, a quarter and a half dollar, soon the quarter jumps to an impossible location of the magician's choosing!
Effect Two: Two coins are shown, a quarter and a half-dollar coin, and any see through glass cup, you place the two coins together the, the half dollar slightly on the quarter and place the cup over the coins. The magician swirls the cup making the quarter melt straight through the table. The Half dollar is tossed into the air to show as one and it soon goes through the table meeting with the quarter.
Effect Three: A quarter and a half dollar are place in as glass either horizontal or vertical depending on the size of the glass, soon one of the coins melts straight through the glass into a spectator's hand or the table below.
Effect Four: A spectator is asked to select a card, the card is fairly placed back into the deck, the deck then is placed into the deck box. The cellophane from the card box is slightly pulled down making a small see through basket for the coins to be slid inside. The spectator picks up the deck and gives it a shake and the quarter vanishes completely from the cellophane while you were no WHERE near it! The deck is taken out of the box and cut to where the quarter as ended up. It's sitting on top of their card for a huge reveal! This is a killer effect that Jiro has been using for the last year! Jiro will teach you different handlings for this effect for different situations including a version using a spectator's or your own pack of cigarettes!
