One of the highlights of the Seminar was Tales from the Castle – Milt Larson’s lecture that allowed the spouses to enjoy these amazing stories from one of the premier magic institutions in the world. Almost as entertaining as his stories was his slowly but surely ever growing necktie. Each time Milt would stand up he would nervously adjust his tie and it began to grow and grow, until as see in the photo with our own Deana Murray – it took on a life of it’s own. To show appreciation for the inspiration of our lives – Martha and Cilene were given a 14 Karat Gold version of the famous Stevens Magic Logo. It was a classy gesture for two classy ladies. Bill Gardner created this logo back in the late 1970’s (from Gardner’s Graphic Hands), and the jewelry was fashioned by Scott Rudd, Jewelry Artist of Carolyn Sayres Fine Jewelry in Wichita, Kansas. Scott is a four-time award winning jeweler from the Kansas Jewelers Association and has produced many fine custom pieces for The Shawn Reida Magic Show and of course customized work internationally.
