Seven ancient playing cards are shown: six black spot cards and one King of Diamonds. The story goes: The proprietor of a game of chance at a country fair divides seven cards into two groups, asking spectators to wager on where the Diamond is. An elderly Gypsy woman, having wagered and lost, places a curse upon the man’s game. When he next operates his game, all the cards are winners! The cards are fanned showing all the faces Diamond Kings and all the backs normal.
