The Art Of Perception
proves that two
people can look at one
object and see
completely different
t h i n g s — p o l a r
extremes if you will.
Two spectators each
choose a card from a
deck. The performer
then shows a
prediction card to the
first person who
acknowledges that it
is her chosen card.
Then the second
person confirms it to
be his card! The first spectator is asked to reveal her card. She
says, “Five of Hearts.” But the other spectator says, “Seven
of Clubs.” How is it they both believed that the prediction
matched their selection? Yes, it’s a play on words, but it’s cute
and for only $5, a great little way to add a fun effect to your
repertoire. These cards come on blue Bicycle-backed card
stock. There is also a gospel version, which features Jesus and
Satan. When the card is turned one way it reads “Jesus” and
then turned upside down, it reads “Satan.”
