Some of the mind-blowing effects you can perform are: PK SOUNDS: A performer selects two spectators from the stage and has them sit down facing the audience on opposite sides of the stage. The performer explain to the spectator that something very strange is about to happen over the next few minutes and for them not to react to any strange sensations they will feel. Next the spectators are blindfolded, and the performer tells both spectators to put their finger firmly in their ears so they cannot hear what he’s about to say to the audience, (he winks at the audience as he says this). The performer then proceeds to walk over to one of the spectators and openly removes one of their fingers from their ears and whispers a word in full view of the audience. The performer then removes the blindfolds from the spectators and asks them both if they heard something, yes or no. Both spectators say YES? The performer asks if they both heard a word – “yes of no?” Both spectators say, “YES!” The spectator hands blank index cards and a pen to both spectators and ask them to write down the word they heard. The words are revealed and they match. This is incredible strange as the audience has seen that the spectators are out of earshot of each other and the performer never whispered anything to the first spectator nor went anywhere near them during the effect??? How can this be! THOUGHT FLASH: The performer walks on stage and produces a deck of card fanning them to show that they are all different. The performer explains that he wants to demonstrate mind reading to the audience. He then requests a volunteer to come up on stage and select a card and remember to put the card into their pocket, out of sight. A second volunteer is requested to be the mind reader. The performer instructs the two volunteers to face each other, at arm’s length, and the length, and the first volunteer to visualize their chosen card in their mind as strongly as possible. The second spectator is then asked to place his hands on the first spectator temples and to concentrate on receiving the name of the card in their mind. The performer stands a little further back and in between the two spectator and he places a hand on the back of each spectator’s skull in order to act as “conduit” for the thought or to amplify each of the spectator’s psychic ability. After a few moments, the spectator two names a card. Spectator one takes their card out of the their pocket and shows the audience. It is indeed the name card.
