Mental Boxes is a great utility device that can be used for many effects – limited only to your imagination! Mental Boxes is five black boxes (lined with velvet), a wooden plate of mahogany measuring 11.5” x 3.5 x ½ inches. Any object that fits to your routine can be placed in the boxes. Whenever a box is removed from the plate you know EXACTLY which box is removed. The message is transmitted 50-65 feet, to a small receiver, which features two modes of communication: electronic display and vibration. Thus you can even perform the effects blindfolded! The only limitation is that the size of the items can not be larger than 1.5” x 1.5” x 1” Inches. Four Phase Sample Effect: In the four boxes you put a blue, green, red and a black die. PHASE ONE: a “Post-it” note pad you write a prediction and put it in the last box, which you place on the mahogany plate. PHASE TWO: You instruct five spectators to each remove a box and hide the content in their hand(s). You can either have your back turned or even be blindfolded. PHASE THREE: Now you are able to amazingly reveal the spectator with holding the black die. You then ask him to roll that (black) die. Lets say it rolls the number “FIVE." Next you reveal the spectator that is holding the box which contains your prediction – which is an amazing feat in itself but gets stronger when you then ask her to open and read your prediction – (on the Post it note). It reads “5” – the number written on the Post-it note (your prediction), perfectly matches the roll of the dice. PHASE FOUR: One after another reveal the color of the three remaining spectators dice. PHASE FIVE: (Optional) If you are the lucky owner of Mental UFO II, you can use the three coded dice from this effect. Finish the routine by asking the spectators with the blue, green and red dice to mix them, and place the dice in their right hand. You can now again by a short touch of their closed hand, reveal which spectator has which color dice.
