Audiences are always fascinated with “linking and unlinking" routines such as the Chinese Rings. Now, here is a version for you close-up workers. You show two playing cards with holes punched in their corners, a large plastic ring and a paper fastener. You fasten the two cards together with the paper fastener through the holes. You then link the plastic ring through the cards, a small ring, and a large ring three times in succession. At the end, all are linked together, and can be handed out for examination. Strong and visual!
