Prediction Impossible (Ted Lesley)

Dr. Stanley Jak’s effect produced by Ted Lesley. A spectator is asked to assist and to place a normal-size deck of cards in his pocket as a prediction. The performer then gives the spectator a jumbo deck to examine. He is then instructed to turn the deck face down and remove any five cards, without looking at their faces and place them on a stand, backs toward the audience. With a piece of chalk, the performer draws a dot in the middle of the chalkboard above the cards and asks the spectator to draw a chalk line from the dot to any one of the five cards. The performer then takes the small deck from the spectator and reveals one card reversed in the pack. This turns out to match the jumbo card indicated by the spectator’s chalk mark. The other jumbo cards are all shown to be different. You get: a foldable wooden chalkboard stand, a piece of white chalk, one original Ted Lesley-type jumbo deck and one normal-size deck.
