Tie Tack Effect (Ted Lesley) (CL)

A fabulous effect from Ted Lesley...The performer shows the audience a gift that he has received—a tie tack! He brings out an elegant jewel box. But, when this box is opened, the audience is quite amused to find that the “tie tack” inside consists only of an upholsterer’s nail and a simple cork disk. With a shrug of his shoulders, the performer takes both parts out of the box and secures the nail through his tie. Now, a playing card is selected by a spectator, signed and shuffled back into the deck. After a bit of byplay, the audience sees that the card has disappeared from the deck.
