Stop Trick

A deck of cards is shuffled and one or two cards are freely selected and returned to the deck. Next, a ribbon is placed across the top of the houlette and the deck is pushed down, taking the ribbon with it. One at a time, the cards are removed and shown. At any time, the spectator may call out STOP! The ribbon is pulled, thus raising the remainder of the deck. The very next card proves to be the selected card! Repeat immediately for the second card. No forcing. Cleverly crafted houlette of select walnut trimmed in bright brass.
