Mental Prediction Board (Mikame)

It’s been around for years but still plays just as powerful as when it was first performed - the Mental Prediction board. Let’s face it - this item gives you everything a good prop should - eats up time, provides audience participation and is a show stealer too! I remember watching my father perform this effect hundreds of times (his stage name was Dr. “C”), as I traveled with him in my youth - it was always one of my favorites. Boy - he would of loved one of these! Mikame has made this board special because it incorporates the best from two eras’ - old/school traditional and new/modern. Traditional quality is represented in the beautiful hardwood Japanese Oak, finely crafted and honed with a beautiful finish that would make 19th century furniture makers proud. New/Modern is equally represented and gives this effect a face-lift with the Dry Erase Markers, and modern materials that provide smoother, more fluid movements. However, the most interesting ingredient (which is unique to this board, as many of you know) is the fact that this board CAN be handed out examination post-performance. Are you going back and trying to find the missing apostrophe t’ after can - notice it’s not there - that’s right you CAN hand it out! Brief Summary of Effect: Performer shows a board that is clean, and writes a prediction on the first square (#1) and covers it up with the flap door before turning around - he then points to a spectator and ask her to think up a guy who likes hockey and magic! She quickly proclaims “Obie O’Brien,” to which the mentalist writes that name under his covered up prediction. He states he is going to write another prediction on the 2nd top section of the board, and after doing so; he folds the flap down over it (so it will remain secret for now). He then points to a gentlemen and says - who would you book as an MC for your next show - to which he quickly and without hesitation reply’s Pete Biro! The mentalist now writes that name on the lower portion (under the #2 flap), and the last prediction he writes and covers, and now asks a third person to name a two-digit number. The person yells out, “ 22” and the mentalist writes it again, on the last, lower portion of the board - so now all three answers are written in plane sight. At this point the mentalist starts to reveal each of his predictions (by lifting the door flaps), and in doing so reveals his predictions - 1-2 and 3 - ALL OF WHICH MATCH EXACTLY that of the different spectators! NO STOOGES - NO PRESHOW WORK - NO COMMUNCIATION DEVICES OR CODES! CAN BE EXAMINED! Everything is self- contained! Measurements: 11Ľ” tall by 16Ľ” wide.
