MC Penetration Block (Mikame)

Another classic effect from Mikame Craft - the Penetration Blocks have been a crowd pleaser for many years! Two visual illusions are possible with this one effect. First: The magicians takes the two wood tubes, and places a wood tray in the middle, between the two tubes. Now a square, yellow die is produced, and the magician holds the die over the top of the tube. Then he drops the yellow square die in the hole and you can see it as it travels toward the middle through the tube, but then it amazingly penetrates all the way through the solid wood plate in the middle? The magician removes the die from the bottom tube to prove that it really did penetrate the wood plate and can also hand the wood plate out for examination, along with the tubes too! How did this yellow die mysteriously penetrate the hardwood plate? Second: The yellow, square die is now taken and a rope is placed through the middle section. The block is held out with the rope ends visibly seen on both sides and the count of "1-2-3" and the magician miraculously removes the rope from the square yellow die yet the rope remains totally intact as does the yellow die too! The block mysteriously penetrates the rope that is visibly seen to be threaded through the center holes!
