Stevens Magic Emporium continues to bring you great Mikame Craft products FIRST! Here is an age-old classic of magic that still plays well today - with a different twist. The magician places a card in a hat or a change bag, and it miraculously transposes itself from the hat/change bag to the card box - and then back again to the hat. This effect packs plenty of audience by-play and interaction coupled with great visual comedy and mystery (in the Mikame tradition). The magician can also place a card inside the card box and then tilt the box up and down. Audience members can clearly see the card being transferred from one side of the box to the other, via the exposed "middle section" of the box (in fact they can also hear the card when it hits the end by the "click" and "clack" it makes too). Yet the eye will certainly play tricks on your audiences. The magician then asks the audience, "What side of the box is the card under?" Most everyone agrees, as they have just seen it visually travel with their own eyes, that is has slid into box number one - the left box. However, the magician opens up the lid on the left side showing it empty! The magician then opens the other door (the right drawer), but there is no card there either! Where has the card gone? The magician reaches into a hat or change bag and amazingly produces the card! The card has mysteriously traveled invisibly to the change bag/hat (or vice versa). Many routines are possible for this effect and the item is nicely made from exotic hardwood with a natural grain and light stain. The front left drawer lid is decorated in red decals resembling small puzzle pieces and the right drawer lid features the same decals only in blue (this design is fitting as it truly is a puzzling effect). Works with both bridge and poker sized cards. Consider using Tarot cards to give it a completely different routine. This age-old principle with a new twist allows you to perform it in new ways previously not possible.
