German inventory Werry Geissler created the first Lasso Card in the 1950s.
The performer shows a solid length of rope and ties a loop at one end. NO FALSE KNOTS! Now a spectator chooses any card from a deck. NO FORCE! He signs it and puts it back into the deck that is shuffled and cut. The performer puts the loop end of the rope into an empty paper bag with the rest hanging out in full view. The deck is shuffled and dropped into the bag. The spectator holds on to the end of the rope, while the bag is shaken to mix the cards. The spectator withdraws the rope from the bag. THE FREELY SELECTED AND SIGNED CARD IS CAUGHT IN THE LOOP! Untie the loop, tear the bag apart and throw it away. Nothing is ever added. Easy to learn and easy to do. Comes complete with rope, a paper bag to get you started and DVD instructions. Use your own deck.
